Mission of Start Up Campus
Start Up Campus mission is to provide young students with the knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to take the right choices when selecting subjects for their international baccalaureate (IB) exams, as well as to assist them in selecting universities, providing guidance on how to navigate studying abroad, and starting successful businesses. Our aim is to support the next generation of entrepreneurs and encourage young people to pursue their passion and turn their ideas into reality. Our organization offers more than just the support for young entrepreneurs.
The Academy prepares students for a successful professional career, providing assistance and guidance in important skills such as creating a resume, writing a cover letter, and applying to universities and companies.
To support our students in their career development, we have created a network of professionals from various firms (Deloitte, Novo Nordisk, DuPont, IFF, Porsche consulting, and Startups (Twentythree, OSY)) and universities (University of Southern California, Copenhagen Business School, New York University, Mannheim University, Oxford, and Rikkyo University), who are available to provide consultation and advice.
Our residents bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Academy and are committed to helping our students achieve their goals and succeed in chosen fields. In Kolegium Europejskie we also organized presentations for graduating high school students. At the Entrepreneurship Academy, we believe that every student has the potential to positively impact the world and help others through their actions. Through our program, we provide students with tools, support, and guidance needed to fully realize their potential and fulfill their goals in personal and professional lives.
Participation in the Entrepreneurship Academy can also help the students in pursuing International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma. Students receive guidance in writing their extended and internal essays, in case they choose a topic related to Academy's purpose, such as a business plan or startup creation. By participating in the Academy, students can demonstrate creativity and innovative thinking while developing important leadership and interpersonal skills. In addition, the Academy provides students with opportunities to engage in community service projects that can help fulfill their CAS (Creativity, Activity, and Service) IB requirements.
CAS stands for Creativity, Activity, and Service. It is one of the three core elements of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, alongside Theory of Knowledge (TOK) and the Extended Essay.
CAS requires students to participate in a range of experiences beyond the classroom, which may include artistic and creative pursuits, physical activities, and community service. Through these experiences, students are encouraged to develop skills such as leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving, while also reflecting on the impact of their actions on themselves and others. CAS is a mandatory component of the IB Diploma Programme and is intended to foster well-rounded individuals who are engaged with their communities.
Through participation in the Academy and working as entrepreneurs, students can demonstrate their commitment to making a positive impact on the world and developing well-rounded individuals.
