Meet the Founder

I’m Tomasz Felpel, a global entrepreneur, strategist, and investor with Polish origins and an international presence. Born in Poland, my journey has taken me across Europe and beyond. I attended boarding school in England, lived in Germany, spent six formative years in Denmark, and now call New York City, USA, my home. These diverse experiences have shaped me into a truly international resident with a unique perspective on business and innovation.

At Columbia Business School, I serve on the boards of the Venture Capital Club (VCC) and the Columbia Entrepreneurship Organization (CEO). In these roles, I am dedicated to fostering meaningful connections between MBA students, industry leaders, and entrepreneurs. I focus on creating opportunities for collaboration, mentorship, and professional growth through events, workshops, and networking initiatives.

I bring over seven years of corporate experience across industries such as Pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, Chemicals and tech. As a Global Business Development Manager at International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF), I lead cross-functional teams and manage + $100 million of annual budget in years 2021-2024. At DuPont, I contributed to the success of the $26.2 billion merger with IFF, identifying $400 million in revenue synergies and developing strategies that strengthened global market penetration. Earlier in my career, at BASF, I led cross-border projects to optimize technology adoption and developed innovative go-to-market strategies for tech in the agricultural sector.

As an board memeber of Felpel Family Office, a first-generation, family-owned enterprise in Krakow, Poland, I oversee investments in real estate, education, and pharmaceuticals. This includes managing businesses like Farmed, a pharmaceutical company, and Centrum Edukacji Międzynarodowej Kolegium Europejskie, an educational institution, ensuring sustainable growth and operational excellence.

I am also the co-founder of OneSip, a mobile app transforming the cocktail experience by offering a platform for discovering, rating, and sharing cocktails. OneSip empowers bars and restaurants with actionable data insights, bridging the gap between enthusiasts and industry professionals. Previously, I founded OSY, a nutraceutical startup focused on plant-based supplements to enhance cognitive performance, which further honed my passion for innovation and sustainability.

In addition to building ventures, I actively mentor startups, helping founders refine strategies, identify growth opportunities, and create scalable solutions. I founded a Non- profit organization Sart-Up campus that helps high school students develop and launch their own business ideas. Through this initiative, I mentor aspiring young entrepreneurs, guiding them in areas like strategy, innovation, and go-to-market planning. This work reflects my passion for empowering the next generation and creating a positive impact in my community. Whether managing investments, fostering networks, or driving entrepreneurial projects, I am committed to making a meaningful impact on a global scale.
